Now that you’ve done that let’s get started. Queen of Grass and Tree was a super light read for me, but an excellent chapter in the Southwind Knights Saga. While it didn’t have as much as action as its predecessor, it instead had a bit of intrigue and character building. I also love the tinge of gore that the author adds. The further the story progresses the more questions I have. I have high hopes for Asher as he continues his adventures as well as the political intrigue the author is building up too.

Apparently they are. Look at that sci-fi series called “Wool”! I haven’t read it, but it’s all over the place.
For sure. Wool is massive, especially in the indie world. I read the first part, but don’t tell anyone, I didn’t love it. But people say it picks up in part 2 or 3, cause that’s when he introduces the “best” protagonist.
I have the first part I think, but it didn’t look like my cup of tea. What you are doing reminds me of David Eddings’ s Belgariad. I don’t know why.. think it’s the relationship between Asher and Galen.
Ooo, I had meant to read the Belgariad recently but never got around to it. I’d somehow never heard of it before last year :O
It was one of my first fantasy series and still one of my favorites. So, you better read it.
